First Friends is a quality child care learning center. A child care learning center is a place where a child can learn at the same time they are receiving care. The quality at First Friends is established and maintained through our friendly professional employees and our constant family involvement.

We believe that children adjust best to an atmosphere that gives them a sense of comfort and security. We care for your child in a loving nurturing way by listening to their feelings and respecting their differences. Our love for children shows in the way we respond to their individual needs.

We believe that children learn best when they are able to master one skill before moving on to the next at their own pace. We teach children by providing an environment full of hands on activities that will allow them to be totally involved and get the most out of every activity. Children learn best when using all of their senses to get the full experience. Providing age appropriate materials in our classroom learning centers gives children the opportunity to explore and encourages them to let their imagination and individuality shine through.  

We believe in a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Concentrating more on the process and less on the finished product. We believe that children learn best through theme-based teaching. This method keeps children excited about learning when using topics that hold their interest.

We believe that the more we learn as adults the more we can guide children through these all-important years. Our employees are trained in first aid, CPR and most importantly child development. We feel strongly that education is a life long process that begins the moment a child is born.

We believe that children will excel to the maximum of their ability with the support of their families. We are a family oriented center and encourage family involvement. Our open door policy allows parents and family members to visit at any time with a mutual goal to bridge the gap between home and child care.
